| 1. Background
The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) is an opportunity for members to work with young people, helping them learn speaking and leadership skills they will need to be successful adults. Burdekin Toastmasters have conducted numerous YLP’s throughout the Burdekin since the late 1970′s. It is estimated that Club has assisted over one thousand young people develop their communication and speaking skills in that time. Burdekin Toastmasters encourages all past YLP participants to come along to a club meeting and relive the memories. |
